Susanne Alexandor joined Cumberland Private Wealth Management Inc. in May 2019, where she will draw on her 30 years of experience as an investment and wealth management professional providing solutions to and navigating the changing investment landscape with both institutional and high net worth investors to achieve their goals.
Ms. Alexandor’s experience has spanned the full spectrum of global capital markets and asset classes in varying regimes, with roles as a discretionary global portfolio manager and advisor to both private and institutional clients. She has held positions with leading firms in major financial centers around the world that include Deutsche Bank (DWS, Morgan Grenfell/Deutsche Asset Management in New York, London, Luxembourg), UBS Wealth Management, and Citi Private Bank (Toronto). Most recently, she spent seven years as a Vice President, and senior investment team member of a macro-focused boutique firm, providing downside risk managed, global tactical asset allocation strategies to the firm’s private and retail clients. She has also been a regular media commentator and industry panelist, enjoying communicating on the many facets and complexities of the asset management world.
Susanne Alexandor is originally from Germany, but was raised and began her career in the U.S. She earned a BA in Economics and German from Rutgers University. During her time in Toronto, she has been actively engaged in community and philanthropic initiatives, most recently as a long-term board member of Project Sunshine Canada.
