Erin O’Brien MSc, CFA is a Portfolio Manager at Cumberland Private Wealth Management Inc. and Cumberland Investment Counsel Inc.  With over twenty years of investment experience, she is a seasoned manager of discretionary investment portfolios working closely with individuals, their families, foundations and corporations in Canada and internationally.  Her personalized wholistic wealth management approach integrates disciplined portfolio construction with a deep understanding of clients’ unique goals and objectives.  Erin is a shareholder of Cumberland Partners Limited, Cumberland’s parent company, aligning her interests with her clients’ financial success.

Erin’s background includes other senior roles including Vice President, Private Capital Management at Laketon Investment Management, Sales and Marketing Manager at HSBC Securities and Equity Analyst at Canaccord Capital.

She holds a Master of Science in Business Finance from Brunel University of London and a Bachelor of Arts from Western University.  She is also is a Chartered Financial Analyst® Charterholder.

Beyond her professional work, Erin is an active community leader.  She serves on the Investment Committee of the Centre for Addiction and Mental Health Foundation Board (CAMH), is Past President and Chair of the Board of the Catholic Children’s Aid Foundation, is Past President and Chair of the Board of the Catholic Children’s Aid Society and has served as a Director for both the Hope For Children Foundation and the Canadian Memorial Chiropractic College.  She has also contributed as a Financial Allocations Committee Panel Member for the United Way.
